Derrick is the creator of Heart Zones Swimming, a new way of using training techniques along with biomechanics to swim better. Derrick founded Team Dream, a Chicago-based “women of color” training club. Derrick empowers ordinary people to achieve extraordinary personal and athletic goals. A multi-time Ironman finisher, Derrick speaks softly with words that motivate, empower, and encourage you to a life of fitness. Derrick lives in Chicago, Illinois.
