Heart Zones Education

Deve is President of Heart Zones Education. Her expertise is in the development of innovative school curriculums and she is the creator of the program, curriculum, and two books titled Middle Schools Healthy Hearts in the Zone and High Schools Healthy Hearts in the Zone. A health and physical educator, Deve has over 30 years as a health and physical educator and an academic trainer with experience extending from middle school through the university level. Currently she is Coordinator for the Graduate Teacher Education Program in the School of Education at Portland State University. Deve has served on the Oregon Governors Council on Physical Education and Sports and is currently the Board of Governors representative for Northwest District to the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
