Quick story about the word "free". There is a big difference between the word "free" and the word "cheap". Researchers recently conducted a study and asked participants this: if you were given a choice of a 1¢ Hershey kiss or a 15¢ fancy chocolate truffle, which would you choose? Answer: 75% choose the truffle over the kiss. Next, they dropped the price point by a penny or just 1¢ offering a "free" Hershey kiss or a 14¢ truffle. Choices changed when offered free.
