Product Specification Sheet

Heart Zones Move BridgeHeart Zones Bridge

The Heart Zones Bridge is a small transceiver that sits between the different body-worn or equipment-embedded sensors such as step activity trackers, heart rate sensors, treadmills, indoor cycles, ergs, power meters, and more. The Heart Zones Bridge takes the signal from the sensors and then relays it to the iPad allowing up to 100+ sensors at one time. This diagram explains what the transmission range from the sensor to the receiving device and the Bridge. Up to 5 Heart Zones Bridges can connect together at one time to increase the range that the participants can distance themselves from the Heart Zones Bridge.

Caring for your Wearable Sensors:

All wearable sensors are high-tech devices that should be handled with care. Follow these caring instructions to ensure reliable measurements as well as to maximize the life span of your wearables. Cleaning your body-worn devices properly ensures performance under harsh conditions. Sweat and salt can build up on the sensor and the fabric band which decreases the ability of the sensor to report accurate data.
  • To ensure accurate data, using a soft cloth, clean the optical sensor light lens or chest strap heart rate sensor.
  • Wipe down the armband and sensor using a soft cloth and only use mild soap and cool water solution.
  • Fabric Straps:
    • Do not use moisturizing soaps as they can leave a certain residue on fabric straps.
    • Do not soak, iron, dry clean, or bleach the strap.
    • Do not stretch the strap in when drying.
    • Separate the sensor from the strap after every use and dry the sensor with a soft towel.
    • Do not ever put the strap or the sensor in a dryer.
    • Check the label on your fabric strap to see if is machine washable.
  • If there is a charging dock and cable for the individual device, use a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol to clean the copper charging contacts and pins.
  • Do not use any abrasive chemicals to clean sensors, plastic housing, cloth armbands as this may cause permanent damage.
  • Store the sensor in a cool and dry place.
  • Do not store the sensor wet in material that does not breathe such as a plastic or other non-breathable container.
  • Do not expose the sensor for extended periods to direct sunlight.
  • Do not press the buttons oo the unit if it is underwater. The sensor may be water-resistant, but not all are waterproof.
