John Jones

Heart Zones’ Regional Account Manager

John Jones comes to us from northern Virginia just outside Washington DC. He retired in August of 2023 after 30 years of teaching physical education in public schools. The last five years he served as a high school department chair, taught the International Baccalaureate course: Sports, Exercise & Health Science, and in-car driver education.

His teaching experience spans PreK, elementary, middle school and beyond.

John coached track and field and football for decades, as well as having taught psychomotor learning as a collegiate adjunct. John holds two master’s degrees and was awarded the Virginia High School PE teacher of the Year in 2018.

As a presenter, he has led over 300 sessions across 40 states and aspires to get to all 50. His presentations are always dynamic and leave participants wanting more. As for his new role here at Heart Zones, John Jones is now in charge of the northeastern states.
