Now including Heart Zones ePE...
Track at-home workouts
With distance learning, or ePE, schools will now be able to teach Physical Education and collect fitness data from their students remotely.
In our goal to Get America Fit, Heart Zones is now providing instructors and coaches with the technology needed to improve physical education and athletics both in AND out of the classroom.
Coaches will now be able to assign and monitor training plans, even during the off-season! Now student athletes can exercise away from school safer, under the supervision of a professionally designed and approved fitness plan.
Motivation & Accountability
The main struggles for Physical Education teachers and coaches in a distance learning environment are motivation and the lack of accountability. No longer will teachers be limited to assigning workouts, and then hoping for participation.
Today’s students are extremely tech savvy. By bringing technology and individualized data to their workouts, we see a huge increase in student motivation. Teachers can access their heart rate and activity data as soon as a session is over, and use this information to accurately grade their students.
Heart Zones ePE runs on our most advanced heart rate and activity sensor, the Blink 24. With 13 hour onboard memory storage, students will be able to log their data via bluetooth directly onto the Heart Zones Connect portal after a workout. Teachers will now be able to assign workout plans, and track their students’ effort levels even in a virtual learning environment.
