Back on January 12, 2012, our founder and CEO, Sally Edwards, was awarded U.S. Patent No. 8092381. This wasn't just a proud moment for our team; it was a landmark achievement. This patent for our Threshold Training System was, and remains, the first-ever federal patent awarded by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for a cardio training program.

More than a decade later, the principles of this system are more relevant than ever and continue to be the engine behind the results our users achieve.

What is the Patented Threshold Training System?

Described as a “system for increasing the fitness level of a fitness enthusiast,” our patented system is the science that makes Heart Zones so effective.
