• Purpose: For young people to learn the skill of calming down
after an emotional disturbance. This is a learned skilled that
must be practiced repeatedly. Provides 6 different ways to
"chill" in order to find each participants individual and best way
to recover from an emotionally charged event.

• Ages: K-12 school grade ages

• Heart Rate Monitor Equipment: To learn the skill of emotional recovery requires using heart rate monitors on each of the participants. The heart rate monitors then connect to any device (Chromebook, iPad, other tablets) which displays the live heart rate numbers and zone colors: emotional blue zone, yellow zone, red zone.  The software is Heart Zones Move. When any participant's heart rate increases by 7-10 BPM (beats-per-minute) then the game stops for the skill training of emotional recovery techniques. If your facility already has Heart Zones Move, you can purchase the bundle without the software and hardware that you already have.
